Sorry I have not been posting as much the past couple week but I have been working with my son on setting up a better and more updated web sight. We are also changing the Face book page to be more of a business page than another personal page attached to my name. This will be all up and coming in the next 2 to 3 weeks.
As for the fishing things have been slow with the warm and cold weather we have been getting. Just as the ice got safe a couple of weeks ago it warmed up and disappeared. Then just as the bank fisherman started to catch fish again it got real cold and again safe ice for a entire day before warming up and disappearing again. Well lets hope that will be the end of the ice.
What has been hitting has been lots of perch and crappies up at Penn Warner. These fish have been hitting minnows, meal worms, spoons and jigging metal the best. Mixed have been a couple pickerel and bass. Core Creek plenty of smaller perch and bluegills with meal worms and twister tails. One fisherman found a few nice yellow perch and crappies hitting 2 inch twister tails and sassy shads. Levittown Lake a couple trout hitting wax worms and Kastmaster lures. One trout fisherman at the Pennypack picked up a nice 15 inch rainbow last Friday with a Berkley 3 inch trout worm in pink. This was his only fish.
The only other reports are coming from New Jersey with lots of pickerel, perch, crappies and bass hitting in the local rivers, lakes and streams with minnows, twister tails, spinners and spoons.
Well that is all I have for you this week. I know this is coming at a different time but give me a couple weeks to get back to normal.
